With the rise of electric vehicles, charging has become a new challenge for electrical systems. When a vehicle is charging at the same time as the heating system, appliances, or other energy-intensive equipment, the available power capacity can quickly be reached..

To address this issue, we developed TetraLink Charge, a smart charge controller capable of automatically adjusting the charging power based on the system’s overall energy consumption..


Smart charging that adapts to your usage


The principle is simple: TetraLink Charge monitors the power consumed by the system and adjusts the power allocated to charging the electric vehicle.

When consumption increases, the charging power may be reduced. Conversely, when power becomes available again, charging can resume at a higher power level. This dynamic adjustment allows for more efficient use of available power and helps minimize the risk of exceeding the contracted power limit and tripping the circuit breaker.

The system also allows users to schedule charging sessions to take advantage of the times that best suit their needs and, depending on their electricity contract, the most cost-effective rate periods.


Simplified installation thanks to LoRa technology


Installing a control system can sometimes be complicated when the electric meter is located far from the charging station.
The TetraLink Charge uses LoRa wireless communication, which—in compatible setups—eliminates the need for long cables between the Linky meter and the terminal.

This approach simplifies deployment and can reduce the challenges associated with cable routing. For the installer, this means easier and more flexible integration. For the end customer, it provides the benefits of a smart control system without necessarily requiring major work to physically connect the meter to the terminal.

Le TetraLink Charge permet d’ajouter une fonction de pilotage énergétique à une borne qui ne communique pas directement avec le compteur Linky.

En assurant la mesure de la consommation de l’installation et la modulation de la puissance de recharge, il permet ainsi à une borne non communicante avec le Linky de bénéficier d’une solution de pilotage énergétique répondant aux exigences du programme Advenir, sous réserve du respect de l’ensemble des conditions d’éligibilité et de référencement applicables. La communication avec le compteur Linky, réalisée sans fil grâce au LoRa, devient ainsi un véritable atout pour les professionnels de l’IRVE souhaitant intégrer le pilotage énergétique à leurs installations sans modifier la borne existante.
