In accordance with the French Climate and Resilience Act, the APER Act (Loi relative à l'accélération de la production d'énergies renouvelables) and the Tertiary Sector Decree, large car parks must now be equipped with photovoltaic or green solutions. From 1 July 2023, outdoor car parks of more than 1,500 m² will be required to cover 50% of their surface area with renewable energy production facilities, such as solar shading or shade.
